One Ingredient My Skincare Routine Was Lacking

I heard someone once say “prevention is much easier than correction”. I took this seriously in almost all areas of my health except for one… my skin.

I spent a lot of years fake tanning, laying out for countless hours in the sun without sunscreen, using tanning oil, buying cheap skincare from the grocery store, and washing my face with dove soap.

All I wanted was quick, easy, and cheap.

I soon learned when I hit the young age of 23 that my skin was already taking a hit and before I knew it, it would be too late if I didn’t step up my game.

All that was truly required was a reorienting of my priorities financially and physically.

Instead of worrying about having a golden tan for the sake of looking good, I needed to protect my skin from long term, permanent UV damage. Instead of buying the cheapest skin care for my face so that I could afford my daily coffee splurge, I needed to prioritize a quality skin care routine that would revitalize my skin and keep my looking young for longer.

Over the years of misplaced priorities, I developed sunspots on my face, two of which were very bold and dark right under my eye.

I knew I needed something in my skin care routine that would be the best for lightening up dark spots, prevent aging, and overall fill my skin with vital nutrients for optimal health.

That is where Vitamin C came in…The one ingredient I was STILL lacking that my skin was extremely thirsty for.

So, I purchased DERMADoctor Kakadu Vitamin C Serum and began using it. I have been using this serum now for 5 months and the difference in brightness, smooth appearance, and lightening of those dark sunspots is phenomenal.

If you don’t know why Vitamin C is a vital ingredient to add to your skincare routine, let me tell you why:

Vitamin C is often labeled as the best anti-aging nutrient for your skin. Because Vitamin C is generally a vitamin we are getting through our diets, it is usually safe to use on all skin. Even though we get it through our diet, that is no guarantee our skin gets enough to reap the benefits.

One of the main derivatives that comes from using Vitamin C on our skin is called “Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate”, which essentially helps our skin retain moisture.

I can speak to this because ever since I have been using DERMADoctor Kakadu Vitamin C, I have not felt that awful dry, raw, or stiff feeling in my face even if I forget to moisturize.

Additionally, vitamin C helps to even out skin tone, reduce pigmentation in dark spots a.k.a brightening sun spots (which is what it has done for me), and even reduce redness because it impedes the melanin production.

Last but not least, my favorite reason for using vitamin C on our skin is that it is high in antioxidants which means that it helps fight off free radicals (damaging toxins) to our skin. Free radicals, overtime, will cause aging to happen much faster.

If I haven’t convinced you yet, you will just need to try for yourself.

I highly recommend DERMADoctor Kakadu Vitamin C as it has proven to work effectively for myself and many. Don’t believe me? Just look at the reviews!

Xoxo,

Lindy
