3, 4, 5, 6?? These are the numbers I count most re 3, 4, 5, 6?? These are the numbers I count most recently when I realize how many days I have gone between hair washes 😬😂

If you find that disgusting, I don’t blame you! But I’d also ask, do you have a horse mane for hair like I do?😂

I’m writing about how I do this most effectively on the blog today! I am sharing with you my routine on the days I don’t wash my hair to keep it feeling and looking fresh and soft😊

⁣
If you are someone who loves the keep your hair bright but doesn’t like the harsh grow out or harsh lines that a full foil can create, adding shadow root might be for you!⁣
⁣
The method works by choosing a translucent semi permanent color that is 1-2 shades darker than the highlight and TAPPING THE ROOT. This is different then a root melt in that the root color will be close to invisible!⁣
⁣
It creates a soft, lived in look that makes for an easier grow out and a natural finish✨⁣
⁣
As promised, I’ve written out my thoughts on thi As promised, I’ve written out my thoughts on this new leave-in conditioner that I’ve been using for about 6 weeks now!⁣
⁣
I’ve written in the form of pros and cons because, for every hair type, there are different needs!⁣
⁣
I’ve made it easy to identify if this product would be right for YOUR hair!⁣

In honor of Part 2 of “Why I chose @madeline_mov In honor of Part 2 of “Why I chose @madeline_moves “ posted on the blog, I thought I’d quote her on something I’m feeling very real today..........⁣
⁣
“The higher the bun, the higher the productivity” 😅👱🏻‍♀️⁣
⁣
But in all seriousness, Madeline’s Program has taught me about a lot more than just fitness... It has also played an influential role in my view of what it looks like to properly fuel my body with food. ⁣
⁣
And as you’ll read today, I didn’t always have a healthy relationship with food.🥖🥦🧇🍎⁣

If you want to read about my journey, check out today’s blog post. I’ve linked it in my bio 🤍

⁣
This has nothing to do with the usual posts I make around here all about beauty, but it has played such a big role in my life that I was so happy to write about it.⁣
⁣
I’ve linked this blog in my bio as usual and I cannot wait for you to read it.✨ I warned you yesterday it’s long ..... 😉 But so worth it!⁣
⁣
Thank you @madeline_moves for all you do for the community that follows you. You truly are an inspiration 🤍
Not many things in life require patience...⁣ ⁣ Not many things in life require patience...⁣
⁣
But there is one thing I, as a stylist, highly highly recommend for any of you who want to transition from DARK hair to BLONDE hair and that is 👉🏼 TAKE IT SLOW‼️⁣
⁣
I’ve repeated this dark to light process a couple of times myself.👇🏼⁣
⁣
The first time I was driven by impatience and greed.⁣
⁣
The second time, I learned my lesson and I allowed this process to span over a year.😯😬⁣
⁣
The result of the first time around was broken, fragile, dry, split hair that eventually had to be chopped off.⁣
⁣
The result of the second time IS long, healthy, BLONDE hair that is strong and can take bleach like a beast ⚡️⁣
⁣
TAKE IT SLOW LADIES. Enjoy the process 💁🏼‍♀️⁣
